Pikes Hotel has an amazing past, since the beginning it has shined with his own light, glamour and style. The original house was built in the XV century in the traditional Ibicencan arquitecture and counted with all the last innovations used by the farmers: wheat grinder, wine press.
Mr. Pike, an adventurer who had been in many places around the world discovered this spot on the Mediterranean and choose it to be his home. Since then he started to reform it, adding new rooms and preparing it for the guests with grace and an incredible style, respecting the rustic ambience but at the same time adding personal touches and influences from all over the world and making it all harmonize with the extraordinary natural surroundings.
At the arrival we find the reception decorated with pictures of the celebrities that have been lodged at the hip and boutique hotel. The magnificent terrace with the swimming pool and the bar stands in the middle of the well-tended beautiful gardens crisscrossed by stone paths that lead to the different rooms. The restaurant is located in the old oil mill. Besides, the hotel has gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, massage room and a tennis court and provides beautiful views of the village and the bay of San Antonio.

CURIOSITIES
The scenery is not the only clue, what about the protagonists?. When the hotel was open in 1984, it received the visit of George Michael who filmed by the pool the video Club Tropicana one of the first hits of his group Wham!. In 1987 Freddie Mercury rented the whole resort to celebrate his birthday with the biggest party ever seen in the island. Julio Iglesias and Grace Jones are some of the other celebrities that have come to the hotel

LOCATION AND DISTANCES
Take the road from Ibiza to San Antonio. Before arriving to San Antonio you will see a CEPSA gas station, just in front of it you will see the signal to the hotel and the road "Camí de Sa Vorera". In the middle of the road-that leads to the village- you will find another signal on the right. Follow the road and you will arrive at Pikes.
